The NW EEO/Affirmative Action Association is a non-profit organization dedicated
to providing education and informational resources on the many facets
of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.
|
|
Policy and Direction is determined by the association's members, and is implemented
by four officers and fifteen board members who are elected annually by
the membership. The officers and board volunteer their time and
efforts to provide members with a variety of seminars, workshops, and
luncheon speakers.

The range of topics covered in these programs include basic and advanced EEO
law, defending complaints of discrimination, role of the EEO officer,
employee selection, promotion, discipline and dismissal, sexual harassment,
employment of the disabled, development of affirmative action plans, and
strategies for implementing EEO and affirmative action in the workplace.

the annual meeting. An annual organizational membership costs $125,
